Project Details: In previous association, Steven Ribble, ASLA, was responsible for design and coordination of a large tract rezoning in Bangor, to an integrated use development plan of High Density Residential, Commercial, and Low Density Residential based upon conservation subdivision principles.
Project Details Cont'd: Steve implemented a collaborative project approach to work with stakeholders and concerned groups to develop a mutually beneficial development plan. A master plan was created in conjunction with the rezoning to communicate the collective understanding and guide future development decisions.
Key Features: Combination of straight and contract development zones, 40% minimum open space, maximum development density, multi-use public trail, creative stormwater mitigation incentives, maintain existing natural character, no public opposition.
