Orono Towpath Trail

Location: Town of Orono, Maine
Scope of Work: Involvement included the detailing and State and Local Permitting of a 1,200 foot trail site plan with accessible slope access along a forgotten historic canal towpath.
As conceptualized in the Town’s Downtown Riverfront Loop Trail Master Plan, developed by Steve Ribble in 2008. Amenities for the trail include parking, improved access to existing hand-carry water access, overlook seating, signage, and wood mulch trail surface. Construction completed Fall 2010.
